Marc A. Burton
He argued against the Executive Office of the President. He forced a sitting governor to defend his actions in court. He represented a woman whose lawyer had abandoned her — she found out on a Friday, he filed Monday — and won. A small practice on purpose: a handful of serious matters at a time, handled by one lawyer, from the first call to the last filing.
South Florida
Litigation Counsel
Marc A. Burton carries forward a practice his father founded in 1982. The cases here span commercial litigation, election law, defamation, and employment — not because the firm takes everything, but because Marc is genuinely invested in each area and has the reported decisions to back it up.
The practice is small by design. A handful of serious matters at a time, handled by one attorney from the first call to the last filing. Clients who need a firm with a hundred lawyers should look elsewhere. Clients who need one lawyer genuinely prepared to go to bat should call.
The primary focus is South Florida — Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe Counties — with appearances in Florida state and federal courts throughout the state.
